Risk Experts to Tackle Credit Concerns at FCIB International Credit Executives (ICE) Conference

COLUMBIA, MD – International credit and trade finance professionals find strength in numbers as FCIB ‐ the premier Association for Executives in Finance, Credit and International Business ‐ opens registration for its prestigious Annual ICE Conference held April 19th‐21st at The Drake Hotel, Chicago IL.

In spite of deteriorating economic conditions, senior credit executives and country risk experts plan to make a positive investment by connecting with peers worldwide and exchanging valuable intelligence on global credit management practices and trade finance solutions.

Specially tailored to produce the best educational and networking experience, the event is organized by FCIB and sponsored by distinguished businesses such as Atradius, Coface, CreditPointe, Euler Hermes, FCIA, International Risk Consultants/ICBA, RBS, Wachovia and WW&R Co., LPA.

Already anticipating record high attendance, this year’s conference agenda kicks off with a powerful and timely keynote presentation on developing a new mindset to better manage and market businesses throughout times of chaos. A frequent guest expert for CNBC Europe and lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, keynote speaker John Caslione will outline strategic guidelines as detailed in his pre‐released book, Chaotics: The Business of Managing and Marketing in the Age of Turbulence.

Other program highlights will include practical advice and expertise on: forecasting world market credit and risk, selling to financially distressed customers in foreign jurisdictions, identifying the red flags of bankruptcy and reengineering credit department processes to survive the credit crisis.

Among the many positive comments from last year’s attendees, a U.S. Director of Global Credit in food distribution concurs that “the ICE Conference is an excellent program providing a wealth of information. It covers a wide range of topics and industries to ensure that international credit executives have the tools they need to do their jobs.”
