About The Conference Hosts in China
- CCPIT
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT),
established in 1952, is the national trade promotion organization
of China. The purposes of CCPIT are to promote international
trade, to encourage foreign investment, to introduce advanced
foreign technologies, to conduct activities of China-foreign
economic and technological cooperation in various forms,
to promote the development of economic and trade relations
between China and other countries and regions around the
world, and to promote mutual understanding and friendship
between Chinese and peoples from economic and trade circles
of all nations around the world, in line with law and government
policies of the People’s Republic of China.
CCPIT has established trade and economic relations with
industrial and business circles in over 200 countries and
regions, signed cooperation agreements with over 160 foreign
counterparts, and set up joint chambers with some foreign
national and local chambers of commerce. Today, its global
network includes overseas representative offices in 16 countries
and regions, and the national network covers 50 sub-councils,
over 600 local branches, and 19 industrial branches in sectors
of machinery, electronics, light industry, textiles, agriculture,
automotive, petrochemical, commerce, metallurgy, aviation,
aerospace, chemicals, building materials, general industry,
construction, supplies & marketing cooperative, grain
business, coals and mining.
- NORSMEO
In 2001, the State Council of The People’s Republic
of China enacted “The Decision of Rectification and
Standardization of Market Economic Order”, and then
the Leading Group of Rectification and Standardization of
Market Economic Order was founded. After the new administration
government established in 2003, the Group leader is served
by Vice Premier Wu Yi. The Leading Group was made up of
the ministers and directors of 36 departments, including
Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Commerce, State
Administration for Industry and Commerce, State Administration
of Food and Drug, etc. The National Office of Rectification
and Standardization of Market Economic Order is the daily
executive office of the Leading Group. The office is housed
in the Ministry of Commerce. Zhang Zhigang, Vice Minister
of the Ministry of Commerce, is the Director.
The main responsibility of the Leading Group is to lead
the rectification and standardization of China’s market
economic order, to guide, organize and coordinate some special
campaigns, to promote social credit system building and
to be in charge of the law enforcement coordination in intellectual
property rights protection.
