Biographies
Dr Hans Belcsak, President,
S.J. Rundt & Associates, Inc., New York, USA
Dr Belcsak was educated for the most part in Innsbruck and majored
in commercial law and political economics and obtained the degree
of Doctor of Jurisprudence. He was named President and today continues
to serve as the active principal. He was associated with banks
in Germany and Italy until 1964, where he accepted a position
to head the World Trade and Transportation Department of the Toledo
Area Chamber of Commerce. In 1967, Dr Belcsak joined the Rundt
Organization of Consultants on International Business. In 1973,
he became senior partner and CEO.
Pat Connelly, Director,
Centre for Excellence in Credit Risk Management, University of
South Florida, USA.
Mr Connelly has rounded out thirty years of executive credit risk
management with his retirement from Tech Data Corporation in January
2004, where he served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Credit
Services. He currently serves on several Boards of Directors,
including FCIB and the Florida Council for Economic Education
and numerous states, national and international Advisory Boards.
Mr. Connolly has founded Entelyx International, Inc., to serve
customer interests, develop business and promote the credit profession
throughout diverse world markets. He has lectured extensively
for three decades and provided worldwide seminars on credit risk
management related topics in over two dozen countries.
Tim Lane, Director of
European Operations, FCIB, Europe
Mr Lane is the Director of European Operations for FCIB, (Finance,
Credit and International Business). Previously, he was Treasurer
of Rothmans of Pall Mall (International) Limited and latterly
General Manager, Commercial Services. After an early career with
National Westminster Bank, Mr Lane joined Rothmans in 1985 and
had Treasury responsibility for the group’s business in
Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South
East Asia. He developed a particular interest in trade finance
and credit management and lectured on these subjects throughout
Europe and the Middle East including the Confederation of British
Industry, the International Chamber of Commerce and EuroMoney.
Mr Lane was also Chairman of the FCIB Advisory Council in Europe
and a member of the FCIB-NACM Board of Directors.
Andy Tagart, Vice President of JPMorgan
Chase, UK
Mr Tagart is currently heading the Trade Product Management Function
of Treasury Services for the EMEA region. Mr Tagart and his team's
principal responsibilities are for e-Trade solutions together
with their linkages to traditional trade products delivered to
corporate and financial institution clients in the region. He
has been with JPMorgan Chase and its heritage organizations since
1983, in a variety of roles in the Product, Sales and Operational
areas of Trade, principally in the UK
