Bad Debt Collection

This is aimed at all Credit Managers who are from time to time confronted with overdue debts in emerging markets. This Forum will focus on various issues regarding overdue (sovereign) trade debt in emerging markets such as-:
· Techniques to lessen the risk. In this respect useful clauses for trade contracts and the effects of insurance, collateral and other guarantees will be discussed.
· Techniques to recover overdue trade debt: litigation and enforcement.
· Alternative ways to get paid: out-right sale, work-out, debt conversion.
· Case studies covering the issues discussed.
