As mentioned in February’s eNews, FCIB is putting on an outstanding Programme in Dubai next week. Be part of our stimulating programme. If you are serious about international credit, be there. Networking opportunities are incalculable.

Amsterdam Conference - 21 to 23 May 2006

FCIB’s Online International Credit & Risk Management Course – The Next Session Commences on 16 May.
Registration for the Course commencing on 16 May is now open. As you know, it comprises a 13 week, 12 modules, instructor led Programme, which allows the student to work at their own pace, while still maintaining a classroom feel in encouraging interaction among peers. The goal is to provide participants with the knowledge to better understand, manage and mitigate credit risks associated with international business. Since its launch in September 2003 over 600 students – including many from Europe – have participated in the Programme and achieved the Certified International Credit Practitioner (CICP) designation. If you have not taken part already I commend it to you and your credit colleagues wherever they may be located. For more detailed information and to register please visit http://vu.msu.edu/preview/fcib001/.

Can Any UK Member Assist Please?
I have received a request from a young lady who is currently following a Master in Credit Management Programme at the Montpellier Business School in France. It finishes at the end of this month and she would like to start a six months internship in the UK from April as an International Credit Manager Assistant for a multinational company before graduation in October. This student has been studying credit analysis, customer portfolio management and conflict management and resolution. She has international experience in Canada, where she followed the Bachelor of Administration curriculum and in China, where she completed two internships in consulting and freight sales. I have a copy CV and references if any UK member is interested in contacting this lady.
